I've heard of the 7 families that control the world.... Something of that ilk. Not sure if this is the same theory.
STUART: Listen, Sonny Jim, it's a known fact there's a society of the five wealthiest people in the world, called the Pentavirate, who run everything and meet three times a year at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as "The Meadows."
CHARLIE: Who are the other members of this Pentavirate?
STUART: The Queen, the Rothchilds, the Gettys, the Vatican, and Colonel Sanders before he went tits up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with his wee beady eyes. And that smug look on his face.
CHARLIE: Dad how can you hate "the Colonel?"
STUART: Because the Colonel puts an addictive chemical in his chicken that makes you crave it fortnightly.
Is it just me or did that preview contain a contradiction or two?
With all the fighting and whatnot in the world I can't understand how the One World Government is any closer to reality than it's ever been.
The front-runner for the Biggest Job Of Them All is both a black guy and a rather distant outsider from the "elite" crowd. Is this some sort of Manchurian Candidate situation?
To answer your rhetorical question - no it's not true. Any sane and rational and mildly intelligent and well-read person can probably see that.
Conspiracy theories are the enlightened man's religion. An opiate for the masses of our modern world. It's human nature to develop grand theories about the inner and less transparent workings of the world to try to explain some of the injustices we percieve around us. It's a self-preserving instinctual impulse, but just like religion, can easily lead or conflict with those that don't agree as one tries to evangelize others on their twisted and blindly narrow perception of things.
I think many of us are growing tired of this conspiracy agenda you are pushing on CP, what are your reasons for believing and trying to spread more people on these things with only some of the most biased and poorly produced propaganda conspiracy films that there are?

+1 for the So I Married an Axe Murderer reference.
I haven't watched the video (blocked at work) but Alex Jones is way out there on the fringe. Some of his individual theories are interesting, but when he starts lumping them together, and building this vast world network, it is a little over the top.
lindberg, you're going to have to stop these drive-by threads... Either post an opinion and discuss it, or don't post at all. Passive voice "is this true" starts with no further interaction from you is a troll type behaviour. Thanks.

I've never understood why someone would take all the time to make a BS conspiracy youtube video when they could have used half that time to research it and find out that it was baseless.

No kidding.
And the fact that it was posted on YouTube or Google Video pretty much confirms it as crap.
