It does look like a World government is on the way with the unified Amero currency one of the first steps.
How much longer until we see a World president (Antichrist) 10, 15, or 20 years?

But 20 years is unrealistic.

A timeline would be difficult to guess at, but I would wager: Not in my Lifetime.

"Antichrist World President" implies some sort of supernatural being running the entire world from a political office. Does anyone actually believe this will happen in reality?

Interesting you say that, I saw a study today that showed a strong correlation between how religious a society was and how poor it was. I'm trying to dig it up but I can't find it, and I was at work so it's in my browser history there..

To be honest what scares me is that 100 or even 50 years ago people who were a bit off the deep end were just that crazy guy on the end of the street with the sandwich board. But with the Internet, these people can now spread their message and indoctrinate/scare people a whole lot easier.

Thats exactly why this 'endtimes' crap has gotten such a foothold on our society.

Especially amongst the older religious people who were brought up in the Baptist theology....and were taught this stuff in Sunday School. Those same people were gullible enough to believe Hal Lindsey when he said the planets aligning in 1986 meant the end of the world was here...and they're STILL gullible enough to believe everything they read on the internet.
