They might kick it into high gear with new blood for a couple years but it sure seems like Sullivan has a short 2-3 shelf life before he’s tuned out again.

Huh?

He just finished a decade long run in Pittsburgh.

If anything the team in New York is the issue that chases coaches away.

Rangers are og 6 and Manhattan is fun, but to take that job in the middle of their goat rodeo when other jobs are available tells you how much they paid him.

Not patting myself on the back and more about how predictable the NHL can be especially when it comes to the Rangers always getting what they want off the ice. I do think this is a good hire for them though as Sullivan is a good coach that will likely benefit himself from a change of scenery.

Rumour is Drury has been after him for a long time, and he spent time as an assistant under Torts there for 4 years. So looks like they both wanted this.

David Quinn, Joe Sacco, and Ty Hennes are joining Sullivan's staff as per Friedman.

Funny story, I know a Mike with almost the same last name, (B instead of W). Poor guy got a lot of ribbing from that movie.
