How come folks have cooled off on Lindstrom?
I'd be over joyed if he fell to 9.

Fear of injury.
If he projects as a Getzlaf when healthy, it is certainly a risk worth taking!!

Lindstrom is going 4 or 5 in the draft, in my opinion. He's too good and big to fall to 9.

"For those worried about Cayden Lindstrom's "injury history". Both injuries (hand and back) were unrelated and doctors don't expect either to be a concern moving forward. Hand is already 100%. Back injury was described as a common sports injury, which didn't require surgery."

The injuries for Lindstrom pushed me to vote Catton, but I would be happy to have either fall to us.
It seems like Catton is slipping in some mock drafts I've seen due to his size, but he's the same size as Crosby, so it's not like you're getting Gaudreau.

I'd be pretty shocked if all of Helenius, Catton, or Lindstrom are there at 9. Somebody is taking a center earlier.

And if somehow those three guys are there at 9...the Flames need to figure out how to trade for pick 10 or 11 and rebuild our center depth in one swoop.

I think part of Catton slipping is also due to Buium and Parekh moving up.

In the clips I've watched Lindstrom looked like he has all of the tools, but one of my concerns is that it looks like his superior size, strength, and speed may be compensating for some slightly lacking hockey IQ. That, as well as personally knowing how much a back injury can screw up a life. I could be way off about his hockey sense since I haven't seen nearly as much footage as scouts.

If he does actually have that IQ, he's exactly the kind of player who could be a monster in the playoffs, whereas Catton's game will likely suffer a bit.

I think I'll be really happy with nearly all of the possible picks at #9.
