@FriedgeHNIC: RT @CanadiensMTL: The Canadiens have acquired forward Max Domi from the Arizona Coyotes tonight, in return for Alex Galchenyuk. #GoHabsGo

Interesting trade.
I really like Max Domi, and Montreal gets younger...so perhaps this marks the beginning of their tear down?
As far as I'm concerned, Montreal's new core is:
Drouin
Domi
Weber
Price
and then absolutely nothing...they need centres and young d-men like crazy.

Feels like Bennett could have got that deal as well. What a weird trade.

I’d rather have Bennett than either of those guys. Some will probably flame me for that but I think his upside is highest of the three.

I wonder if that means Habs draft Kotkaniemi with the third pick. They need a Center bad.

I wouldn't move Bennett for Galchenyuk. But I'd move something to have galchenyuk play with Bennett. Dudes been consistent enough even for as enigmatic as he has been,

Its now Galchenyuk, Sergachev and Subban for Domi, Drouin and Webber.
That looks horrible to me, but I'm not an NHL GM.

Galchenyuk>Domi. Big win for ARI.
Also, both of those guys are better than Bennett, I hate to say it

I'll give you Galchenyuk. Domi if he is...isn't that much better.

I figured galchenyuk had more value. I expected to see a 2nd kicked in from Arizona.

Pretty even trade in my opinion. I would probably take Domi over Galchenyuk.

Points wise they're pretty similar. Domi with significantly more pims.
Fingers crossed this kick starts everything else.
