Default Market 213 first in Canada

So is this market located outside section 213?

Found out about this while I was on the Saddledome tour earlier this year. I believe this is a first for the NHL. They mentioned that it's been done successfully in the MLB or NFL (can't quite remember).

Would have been more fitting if they'd plopped this thing in section 214, but I look forward to seeing how it works.

Tangentially, I recall in orientation for becoming a cashier at Sobeys they talked about this technology... that was back in like 2005. It was a "future state" where cashiers would be obsolete. I see that is still not a reality, and I thought it totally baffling and demotivating to describe to workers how they would be automated away during their training.

Not sure what it's like in Canada, but self checkout has taken over in Australia. Some stores have only 1 or 2 cashiers - it's all self checkout now.

They have them at Rogers Centre in Toronto (Skydome). Works great!
