The Poster Known As Regulator75 Has Passed Away
Hello CP.
With much sadness I make this post to share the news that my brother Nathen, aka Regulator75 tragically passed away on Feb. 23rd 2023.
He was an original poster on this site, going back to the Fire and Ice days. I joined after he pointed me to the site when I got my first PC in 1999.
His recent years had him mostly posting here in the off topic section but at one time he was a huge Flames fan.
I see he has 18,995 posts here on this forum. I'm not sure if any of you had a relationship outside of the relationship most of us have here being online handles but I wanted to inform this community because it was a part of his life for so long.
I also wanted to post the obituary incase there are people here that knew him and would want to pay their respects.
His funeral is set for Saturday, March 18th, 2023 in Calgary at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) . There will also be a live stream of it online if anyone is interested.

He was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend to many. I loved him very much. He is already missed beyond words, the world will never be the same.

I am really sorry for your loss. I had no idea you guys were brothers.

Once the community all moved over from Skyscraperpage to Skyrisecities around 2016/17 most people changed their usernames so we weren’t sure if he continued to post there but some of the long standing posters there remembered him from the SSP days.

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could say that I knew him better, but I certainly enjoyed our interactions on here. I could tell he had a great sense of humour and any time I posted in the Funny Pictures thread and he thanked my post, it felt like a badge of honour, like validation because I looked up to his opinion on that sort of thing.
I know a lot of people already knew what a talented photographer he was, and I missed out on getting to follow that while he was around, but after I learned of his passing, I started checking out the links in his profile and am amazed at all the beautiful images he captured. Based on his humour and artistic mind, I know he is someone that I would have loved to have known outside of the internet. I wish I could have known him better.

I was looking for my long lost Flickr account to find some photos I took, and upon finding it I noticed the only person I follow was Witty Nickname AKA Reguator AKA Nathen. It's sometimes hard to keep track of online identities/names/faces, and it's been bugging me where I knew the name Nathen Jantzen from, and finally put it all together.
