It is kind of crazy that we are currently in a playoff spot.
Have to give a ton of credit to Wolf and the coaching staff. When is the last time a team that is this bad on paper made the playoffs?

I'd prefer to continue living off the high of last night's game. This one feels like a downer.

Full credit to the coaching staff for getting the most out of this roster. I’m thinking the Bean Pachal pairing has been playing high level D for where they are on the depth chart. If Pelletier and Sharangovich can start contributing consistently it could rub off on guys like Coleman and Backlund who should have a bit more offence to give. I hope Vladar can be rewarded with a W and keep this streak rolling. Go Flames!

The odds / chance of winning is against us for some reason. I guess it's because it's back to back / injuries?

A week or two ago, I was looking at these 2 STL games as potentially being the first nails in the coffin of the Flames' playoff hopes, with STL passing the Flames and pushing them to 10th in the West, where they would simply not have the horses to climb out from.
Now, these games are a chance for the Flames to effectively bury STL. Amazing.
In all likelihood though, it will end up being a split. It would be disappointing, after this 3 game winning streak, to lose both to the Blues.

St. Louis will be 'on' tonight as they chase Calgary, and it being a 'home-and-home' (albeit with one day's rest between games), I am sure they will come out hard out of the gate trying to make a statement. I expect a closer contested, lower-scoring game tonight, but with the feel of playoff hockey to an extent. Looking forward to it.

Winning both games would be a huge boost tot the flames playoffs hopes and would effectively end the Blues shot at the playoffs. The Blues will be playing desperate. The flames will have to match that intensity. Tough after playing yesterday.

Yes, the Blues' season is on the line tonight - they will come out hard and physical. It should be playoff hockey for sure.

Since December 3rd the Blues to be in a similar spot as the Flames up until now no real streak one way or the other. Alternate with multiple losses and wins mixed in with a 3 game losing streak.
We do have 3 more overtime losses so that boosts things a bit.

Say whatever you will, but as long as they're in the game, they're fun to watch.
Once they're out of the game? Well...Lomberg will take care of that.

BTB, road game, a much better team than last night (and better than Calgary on paper), probably a goalie change.

Vladar start I'd assume, hope he comes in solid and gets some support. Would be nice if he got his value up a bit with the TDL approaching.

My crystal ball was a little murky last night, and I mistook assists for goals for Kerins! Tonight, it shows another multi-point night for Kerins!
