Default Audio equipment

Where do you shop for your audio equipment? I've been to Absolute Audio, the Audio Room and K&W. I don't know who is good. I'm looking at getting a Turntable, amp, speakers and something to stream with via wifi. I know very little about these things. I have a good set of headphones that I usually listen to with my macbook and a dragonfly cobalt dac. But I've been meaning to get back into vinyl...well I took my son to Sloth records on Record Store Day and we spent a bunch of money, so I put the cart before the horse.

My husband does media & audio, and he gets most of his gear from Long and Mcquade, or second hand from colleagues who've built up great collections.
