I'm voting Kylington again. I think he's being underrated. His AHL season (at age 20) last year was just as impressive as Mangiapane's IMO.

I don't at all disagree, even though I voted for Mangiapane.
It's nice to be in this position as a Flames fan where several of these players are so close as to make these decisions difficult. There is no "travesty" here where fans are casting votes for Kylington, or Gillies, or Foo, or Mangiapane. They are all really good, and good arguments can be made to have every one of them slotted in the Flames's top-five prospects.
Hell, for laughs stroll on over to HF and see how the Oilers summer prospects poll is going.

Voting for Kylington here. Both he and Mangiapane have had AHL success and look poised to take a step forward soon. Kylington has the higher ceiling though, as he could be a real gamebreaker on D with his elite skating. A D corps long term with Brodie, Hanifin and Kylington would mean the potential to have a dynamic skater on each pairing, or if Kylington comes good sooner, potentially opens up a trade of Brodie to reinforce the team or prospect pipeline.
Mangiapane IMO tops out as a very good 3rd line/spot on 2nd line player. It's between him and Gillies next for me, with Foo coming up after those 2

I think Gillies is next.
On the 'closest to making it' side of things, he played 5 games last year to Mangiapane's 10. Considering he's a goalie, I consider those equivalent.
On the 'upside' axis, he has a higher ceiling, and plays a more important role, than Mangiapane.

I'm definitely moving all my goalie votes down a notch. It's not that i don't think there's strong potential but until they are kicking ass at the AHL level, i just don't know what's really there for each guy.
Parson had a year that told me nothing either way about his potential. Gillies really disappointed me in his play at the NHL level, where it looked like he had trouble with shots from outside the zone!
I am going with Kylington again here. Think he still offers the highest value from a risk/reward perspective. I think i actually have Kylington, Foo before any of our goalies.
Also, I'm not as high on mangiapane as others here (clearly based on the state of the current vote). His AHL numbers from his first year definitely provide a lot of hope, however, outside of the first few games, i thought he looked a bit out of place at the NHL level.
I think my list after Vallimaki, Andersson, Dube would go: Kylington, Foo, Parsons, Mangiapane, Phillips, ......

I have Gillies and Kylington ranked fairly evenly. One gets the nod for experience, while the other for higher potential. Kylington is still really young.

Between Kylington, Mangiapane, and Gillies I don't know how much of a difference there is. Kylington and Gillies would seem to have higher ceilings, but Mangiapane seems to have the higher likelyhood of being in the NHL soonest.
After that trio I think Foo stands alone, than it's a bit of a drop to the next group. Than really it's a longer list of guys who's play this coming year will sort how they fit next year.
The upper end of the roster would seem to be in okay shape, so it's these sorts of players who need to emerge as effective NHL players who can be 9-12 forwards and 5-6 defenceman.

How close does it have to be? Last one was 36% Parsons, 31% Mangiapane

I've been flip-flopping back and forth between Kylington and Mangiapane the last couple rounds, but elected to go with the guy that skates like Karlsson. An absolute gem of a specialty to possess in today's league, especially for young defenceman. Look at how Sergachev and Provorov are doing.
