A dismaying number of Canadians believe we can transition now, today, to renewable energy. And that removing
any more fossil fuels from the ground is unnecessary and immoral. They don’t make up a majority, but they’re highly motivated and highly visible.
It will be interesting to see if the coming spike in energy costs opens up Canadians’ eyes about the price we’ll pay to keep those fossil fuels in the ground.
