Hey, congrats man.
We have a 4 month old (our first) and I can't tell you how cool it is to be a dad. I can have the absolute worst day at work, and I will forget about it after being home for 5 minutes because of that little guy.
The only advice I can give is to try and set a schedule as soon as you can. Forget the first month or two, because your son will be in charge.
A lot of books out there tout the E.A.S.Y. system - Eat, Activity, Sleep, you. Yeah, cheesy, but it works. Feed him, play with him for a hour or two, put him to bed. If you can get that schedule down, you are laughing.
