This is the kind of story that makes me proud to be a Canadian. Does anyone know what would have happened had that mail in ballot been counted properly? Does the returning officer flip a coin when a vote is tied between the top two vote getters?
I'm just looking at the vote count on wikipedia and it appears the Liberal candidate won the riding by two votes, not one. Why the annulment then?
