So 60% is gonna be so hard.

Even narrow margin ridings with low turnout:

Calgary-East: 44% turnout; UCP won 7123-6425; 8,593 required for recalls = 27% of the 32,250 eligible voters last time

Calgary-Cross: 50% turnout; UCP 7533-7019; 9,083 required = 30% 30400 eligible

Calgary-North: 57% turnout; UCP 7,927-7,798; 9,503 required = 34% of the 27900 eligible

But all three of these have been UCP for the last two terms.

As was Calgary Bow: 66% turnout; UCP 13,175-12,552; 16,006 required = 40% of 40,159 eligible

It might be better to direct our energy towards another citizen's initiative. Perhaps one for a public inquiry into the MHCare scandal, and another demanding a general election accompany any use of the NWC. Sadly I think both of these will fly over most people's heads compared to Forever Canadian.
I think you are underestimating how unifying an issue it is that the government is willing to revoke our rights. Doug Ford tried it and reversed course quickly at the backlash. The UCP won't reverse course unless we make them and the best way to do that is to recall as many of them as possible.

Any Freedum Convoy tard should be up in arms right now that people have lost their rights. Any regular person who is "too busy to keep up on the issues" should be waking up right now to see their government cross a line that shouldn't be crossed. Any self-proclaimed progressive should be putting on their jacket and boots to get ready to take action and blaze the trail for others to join in.

Yes, it looks like it is going to be hard work to recall any one of these people. It will be even harder work to recall 7 or 8 of them. But the reward for trying is that we could topple a corrupt and evil government and show that democracy is worth fighting for. Bonus points, we can show the country that Albertans are not all conservative lapdogs who will roll over for any party wearing blue.

Otherwise you are already living in the fascist state.
