The Flames and Habs announced the event August 4th, with the Jerseys being unveiled, officially it wasn't available until December 8th but knockoffs were already out in the city in early September.
Both are beautiful up close as well when you can really appreciate the stitching and the detail

Agreed, that 2011 jersey is awesome too as it's a nod to the Calgary Tigers. I hope the next time they do a heritage classic they do a similar thing but with the Calgary Cowboys.
