I guess the point is that we keep being told that he'll be in such high demand but that really doesn't appear to be the case.
If we're getting what everyone seems to think we'll get, they'd have moved him at the deadline regardless. They didn't get anything at the draft even after the possibility of having such a profile asset for 2 playoff runs was missed.
Friedman, Lebrun, Johnston. All suggesting that Andersson will be in high demand. When is that coming if we haven't seen it already and how can we be so sure that there will be any more demand next spring?
I think thats why we're hearing extension talk again. And the Boeser comparison. Remember what the Vancouver GM had to say about trade offers there? I really wonder if thats happening here. Everyone overvaluing Ras.
I mean Vegas' offer was apparently (Friedman suggested this) a 1st and Nic Hague but Hague wouldn't come here. No one could or wants to match that?
