It’s mostly an internet thing. The miserable loons who spend all day rage-posting about politics aren’t representative of wider society.
Most people share your belief that all murder is bad and the political identity of the person who was murdered doesn’t change that. The fact those calling out the ghoulish behaviour here are being denounced as right-wingers shows how out of touch with real-world social norms the loons are.
