It isn't the negative assessment, it's that his assessments of the Flames are consistently skewed to the negative.

There could be, but I also think that all fan bases think that commentators, analysists, etc are biased against their team.
I think it's more interesting to understand why he ranks the team where he does, than just dismissing it all as some sort of personal beef against the Flames.
