Watched True Romance for the first time since the first long ago. I liked it way more this time. I think a lot of times a movie is based on our own mood at the time of watching.
Also tried to watch Heat again, I did not get the love but thought I’d give it a whirl with the accolades, I couldn’t make it through it again. Holy crap, edit something. Totally drags at parts. Car chase and gunfight scenes do nothing for me.
It’s totally a personal preference thing. I love zombie universes but superhero universes are stupid and ridiculous. It’s not consisttant. We should get some pronouns for our movie preferences.

Interesting timing as I've been on a Tarantino kick recently and revisited True Romance a few months back. It's still really fun and maybe the only thing that hasn't aged well is Slater's overacting. Fantastic cast and the trailer scene is still epic.
