It's hard to give full credit for drafting Hully. I'm pretty sure we took him in the 5th or 6th round, in spite of his legendary bloodline. I remember he was like 2 goals per game in juniors that season too. You can pretty much ignore everyone drafted outside of the first two rounds then.
They all turned out, but weren't drafted high enough for the drafting team to take any credit.
Loob, Fleury, Gaudreau, Suter ... all of them.
Anyone not drafted high with skill has warts, and that's still true today.
