I think the biggest issue is the risk they are taking on because of an injury and what not.
To be clear though just because those players got those returns doesn't mean Rasmus would have. I think he would have, but we don't know. Those are very different types of player. I would argue similar value, but different types.

Time...they've wasted a lot of development time for the picks that will be the centerpiece of any deal.
I wanted him traded at the deadline in 2023...25yr old dman with term left, and coming off two near 50pt seasons ahead of what was reported to be a very strong draft. Any return we get I compare to that
