I think he's saying Succession is probably going to be the last example of this, but I could be wrong...and also he could be wrong about that opinion. For me, The Bear still checks those boxes, but it seems to be winding down. White Lotus is also an example of this, but it isn't for everyone the way some other shows are and skews a little more niche audience.

I would put the end of this Golden Age at around the end of Succession. There are some pundits who put this Golden Age from 2000 to 2023 (2000 being sopranos, and the start of appointment viewing TV series).
There are still great shows: Severance, Bear (although fans and critics were lukewarm on S3 and 4), etc. but there is a lot of very meh scripted content these days and streaming platforms are pushing out more "second screen" programming to watch while you scroll through tik tok.
