There is definitely no point trying to replicate them. Getting Tkachuk, Bennett, Reinhart for so cheap isn't really something you can bank on. Picking up a guy like Forsling just does not happen with any type of regularity.
Florida is a unicorn. They are probably the most well rounded team of the last 30 years. And then you can't compete with their combination of city and taxes. Once you have a stacked roster with those benefits on too there's a reason every guy was willing to take less to stay.
