If you see that equal in value ... fill your boots. I see one as pointless, and the other the very definition of being a fan ... that is backing something with hope and enjoyment.

Thing is though I don't even think I'm overly negative - usually I try to look at things positively and am generally favourable to what Conroy is doing.
But to me this specific situation was a very predictable outcome that could have been avoided had they just been a bit more proactive 12 months ago.
Hopefully the Flames can still garner a good return, but overall the asset management of this organization has been too reactive historically, so it's easy to get frustrated when it feels like the same mistake continually gets made in terms of walking players to free agency / the final year of their contracts and not returning full value.
Conroy has been better at this for sure, but still frustrating to hear that the Hanifin scenario is happening with Andersson now too.
