You don't disrupt the team. You don't blow up the dressing room. You have a natural transition and continuity, along with a steady stream of new assets over the next couple years. And you still trade all the players for assets, you just do it in a more controlled and positive manner.

Also, if you flood the market with all your vets, you’ve diluted it. You’re not going to get as good value if you, essentially, liquidate your assets.
