If there is ever a time for the Flames to open the floodgates on a youth movement, this is that time. Solovyov, Kuznetsov, and Poirier are not going to get much more out of another AHL season and the team needs to see what we have with these guys before walking away from all of the years that has been put into developing the players.

Having said that, Poirier's injuries likely makes him the odd man out.

Solovyov looked good in his short stint with Pachal. Weegar makes everyone he plays with look better and I think Bahl-Parekh could work out well.

Just say 'no' to UFA D signings.
That would be very ballsy to go into the season with that D. Parekh and Kuznetsov will be facing the other team's top forwards on a nightly basis, and it would be pretty much impossible to shelter any D.

If Samuelsson really wants out of BUF, and comes dirt cheap because the rumours have him as a potential cap dump at this point. Then he would be a good fit IMO.
