Nothing earth shuttering, but I really hope either he or Kuzy takes that 3LD spot with the Flames, while both Parekh and Brz push on the right side.

As a side note,CSKA Moscow, the same team that Okhotyuk signed with, extended its rights to Yan Kuznetsov about a month back. I'm guessing they wish things don't work out for him in NA, and he returns to the KHL.
I have said it before but I hope the team makes room for both of them.
Kuznetsov-Weegar
Bahl-Parekh
Solovyov-Pachal
X: Bean, Miromanov

If there is ever a time for the Flames to open the floodgates on a youth movement, this is that time. Solovyov, Kuznetsov, and Poirier are not going to get much more out of another AHL season and the team needs to see what we have with these guys before walking away from all of the years that has been put into developing the players.

Having said that, Poirier's injuries likely makes him the odd man out.

Solovyov looked good in his short stint with Pachal. Weegar makes everyone he plays with look better and I think Bahl-Parekh could work out well.

Just say 'no' to UFA D signings.
