I don't think they should be in a huge hurry, but they need to do it before the season starts. You don't want to get into a situation where the team is overachieving making it more difficult to make the decision or disappointing to the rest of the team to trade him. It's easier and typically convenient at the draft because all the GM are at the same place and in the mood to make moves, but I wonder if that changes this year with the draft being decentralized.
