Miller has the better pedigree, he was a 1st round pick and Hague was a 2nd round pick.
Miller has also averaged over 20 mins a night every year he has been in the NHL, Hague has never averaged over 20 mins.
Miller is the much better player and it isn't really close. Hague is a 2nd pairing player at best and more suited for the 3rd pairing. Miller averaged the 2nd most minutes behind Fox on the Rangers defense. He is a 1st pairing guy on a lot of teams, but is probably best suited as a 2nd pairing player.
Miller would be on the 1st pairing in Calgary, Hague would slot in behind Bahl.
