I liked Ahsoka when they introduced her in the Mandalorian. As someone who had never watched the animated shows, she seemed like a cool character in her brief appearances with Mando.
But they really dropped the ball with season 1 of the Ahsoka series. If Filoni was trying to appeal to any fans outside of the hardcore nerds who watched the animated stuff, then he failed miserably. In those 8 episodes I found her character to be boring, miserable, and just not interesting enough to carry her own series. The terrible story/writing and lame secondary characters didn't help either. The only character I found even remotely interesting in that series was Baylan.
