Like, I get that he's one of two Liberal MPs elected from Alberta and that should result in at least one of the two being in Cabinet regardless. But, if Corey Hogan was elected in say Toronto-St. Paul's, Mount Royal, or Ottawa-Centre shouldn't he still be in Cabinet?

Is he though? What makes him more qualified than other elected Liberal MPs? He doesn't have a record as an elected official. He has some experience working on campaigns but outside of being a western seat is he really more qualified? I obviously want more western representation but should any elected western MP get a Ministerial role (like Randy B)?
