Helping a co-worker by sharing you screen on Teams is more efficient than hovering over a desk telling them what to do.
And I don’t understand these stories of people who WFH being gone for hours on end. Not only do you have the green light on Teams (and other tools) that track if you’re actually present and engaged, but don’t most knowledge workers get at least 6-10 Teams messages a day from people expecting immediate responses? Heck, I get messages right through lunch and feel like I’m slacking off if it takes me 40 min to respond to them.
If you can routinely be away from your desk for 3 hours without anyone noticing, your role involves very little collaboration in the first place.
