We should 100%, but we can't just go write a cheque. We basically have to revamp years of terrible management when it comes to defense spending.
And likely it means working closer together with the US, our most important NATO partner and NORAD partner.
The whole thing is dumb as a pile of rocks, but then again Canada has sat on its ass on many of these things for decades really.
