Hes the one player that I could see the flames thinking is expendable and doesnt have trade protection that the sabres would be very interested in.

Wonder if Posposil moves the needle all that much. The same injury history/concerns that many around here are using as a reference to support trading him are well known by other teams.
Not suggesting he has little value but if I知 Buffalo and I知 moving a 23 year old RHS C with a 30 goal season under his belt. I知 looking for a comparable young player/prospect with similar upside.
A late first (why does Buffalo want one anyway), Posposil and Piorier (Flsmes 9th best prospect according to Steve Ellis, and likely passed by Mews here shortly) probably is wishful Flames fan thinking.
If I知 Buffalo, I知 holding out for more of a sure thing that helps them now. Out of those three pieces, none of them do.
Flames could put Sharangovich on the table (plus a 1st and prospect) but, I suspect, it then comes down to Buffalo shopping that offer to see if any other team beats it
and if Buffalo deems that offer from the Flames sufficient. If they move Cozens, they have a hole at C to fill, and as the Flames and their fans can attest, finding young C痴 isn稚 easy.
