I think my response above is suitable. If Canada wants to use Alberta oil as a bargaining chip in the name of "unity", then Alberta should use that leverage to maximal effect in negotiating with the rest of Canada. In fact, this may be the single best opportunity for Alberta to renegotiate its place in Confederation.
