Yeah, maybe you can get a haul for him, but he's also a pretty big part of the culture and, you still need vets and leaders. Why dispense with one that we already have and dont need to trade?

How many vets and leaders do we need? Should we turn the team into a retirement home ? We already have more than enough and can probably afford to offload a few more actually.
The young players like Wolf, Zary and Coronato are learning and will have to take over the leadership of the team. I’d probably put Bahl into that group as well.
Also all 4 will get substantial raises and the Sharangovich extension kicks in. So yeah we do have to be mindful of the cap because as we add more of the prospect base they will eventually get paid as well in a few years.
Andersson is the perfect guy to set our new path forward. The team being proactive and getting rid of the player, and we don’t do retirement contracts anymore.
