Yeah if you're a light switch guy, and don't live life with a dimmer switch then sure ... 100% asset management.

And if I'm staring down either player walking for nothing because their deals were up this year, then I'm with you 100%.

Since they're not I'm weighing the difference between the deadline and the summer for each players value vs the culture of the team for not gutting them, and the value of the development for the current young players for keeping the team together.
