Huberdeau has easily outplayed and outworked Nazem Kadri this year whom is Zary's most frequent linemate to date. It "should" be an upgrade for the kid.

"Nevermind that at 5v5 his expected goals per 60 is 3rd last for all forwards, beating out only Ryan Lomberg and Roonie (same with high danger shots attempts, the ones most likely to go in).
Nevermind that at 5v5 he has the most offensive zone starts of all forwards not named Sam Honzek.
Ignore that he has as many even strength points as Justin Kirkland even though Kirkland starts the majority of his shifts in the defensive zone and Huberdeau starts the majority of his in the offensive zone. (while riding a sky high 30% shooting percentage, sustainable I think!)"
