Calling Deerfoot Meadows an industrial park is probably the most boomer thing in here.

It's not like Motel Village, or the ones by the airport, are any more glamorous. At least here you can go for a cheap lunch at Ikea, and then shop for a Ferrari.

This is an underrated location, for sure. The hotel is cheap and there are tons of cheap eats options in Deerfoot Meadows, the shopping is pretty good, you can walk up the hill on the dirt path and go to the Farmer's market and have local options, and the river pathway is less than a km away if you are a runner.
I could totally see myself staying here if I was from out of town and was in town visiting relatives or whatever on the South end of the city.
