Yeah, honestly this is stupid.
I thought the red was harsh, but it was given and not rescinded. So stand by it. So what, Bruno is suspended a bit? Now VAR looks even dumber than it used to and thats bar even Hermes Conrad couldn't limbo under.
Either have the balls to stand by your decisions or scrap the thing entirely.
You know, if a guy's shoelace or mustache is offside the goals dont count? What is the standard here. VAR had all day to decide on that Bruno call.
I watched it once and...'by the letter of the law' a Red could be justified. It was harsh, but not necessarily 'wrong.'
Overturning it now just erodes VAR's credibilitiy which...well it cant stand much more erosion.
