I had to google this for more information. I felt that the Stampeders were around much longer. Yes, they were, but they started using the logo 1 year after Ford did. Turns out that Ford had an employee who attended MSU when MSU first started using the logo. If Ford could sue the Stamps then MSU was going to make bank with Ford so Ford just walked away.
