He isn't more pro union but messaging, policies, discussions and more are and have been centered around working class people for a while now. It's more of a large tent philosophy that is better suited to larger voting blocks in Ontario/Quebec etc.

For a guy from AB, you don't hear a ton of things about oil and gas, western Canada rights, gun legislation and more.

He has been very careful in picking up issues that are really mattering to Canadians and to Canadians where the votes are. Cost of living, housing, auto thefts, immigration volume, drug/homeless/crime issues.

It has been very challenging for the Liberals to counterattack and they have been trying so hard, so long and it's just not working.

The Liberals can't sell what Canadian's aren't buying anymore. Policies have stayed the same but the game is kinda different.

You can't sell that the carbon tax rebate is higher than we are paying. Literally everybody is using the carbon tax as an excuse to raise prices everywhere.

You can't sell that the Liberals are investing into the middle class when costs for basic things are absurdly expensive.

You can't sell that immigration at 400k+ a year isn't having an affect on the housing supply and services. People are going to view homes to either rent or buy and are seeing a lot of people who are newcomers competing with them for housing and for government services. It literally is right in front of their eyes.
