So you agree he's a top pairing Dman. And his cap hit is $4.55M for the next 2 years.
I don't see anyone over-rating him, I see a player that has a lot of value, and there is interest across the league for him. That equals a strong return. Undervaluing our players, and accepting mediocre returns for them, is not how you build your asset base.
