Most of your post is debatable, but this point stands out. There are 2 players who are now part of the Blues organization who left the Oilers to make more money. There are always players who will take less to play in certain cities or for certain teams, it's not something isolated just to Edmonton. The entire league isn't chomping at the bit to take less to play there, as we've witnessed within just the last few weeks.
