Pretty sure this is just clickbait.

In theory it makes sense for the Flames:
Quote:
The Montreal Canadiens are actively exploring options to trade forward Josh Anderson, and recent rumors suggest a potential deal with the Calgary Flames. According to rumors, the Canadiens are offering sweeteners to entice the Flames into accepting Anderson’s hefty contract, valued at $5.5 million annually.
|
But the actual trade this guy is suggesting is just bad for the Flames:
Quote:
The potential trade involving the Calgary Flames would see Martin Pospisil heading to Montreal, alongside a 2026 fifth-round pick. Additionally, a 2025 third-round pick, and young prospects Sean Farrell and Jordan Harris are also part of the package offered to Calgary.
|
To give up Pospisil and a 5th for Anderson, a mid round pick, and a couple of B prospects seems counter intuitive for what the Flames are trying to do.
