Put that on a risk matrix and see where reasonable people think they'll end up.
Trump regularly tells people that in California they are killing babies 4 weeks after they are born.
He's either straight up lying about that, or he's so dumb he actually believes it.
Either way, what about statements like that make you think he'd continue to allow that to happen (even though it actually/obviously isn't).
100% guarantee it goes something like this:
Trump: Today I'm enacting a nation wide abortion ban
Everyone: But I thought you said it should be left to the states, and that you would never do this
Trump: What they're doing in California is horrible, we need to put a stop to it
Everyone: But that's not actually true about California
Trump: Well a lot of people are saying it is, so that's something someone should look at....
