My bet is Kuzmenko will be dealt at/near the deadline and retention will be part of the deal. That will leave one spot this year and I’d also bet the Flames will want to leave that open for Sharangovich if he doesn’t resign.

They could move off that strategy if someone wants to give them an outstanding offer on, say, Coleman.
