So don't think we have to give anything back for saving Buffalo 18 million in cap over next 6 years if they buy him out which is their alternative.

But I don't know if this considers the quality of the player. Skinner is decent, so only part of the cap hit is actually inefficient/dead cap.
I tried putting Dylan Cozens in, and it said that the cap relief would be the 3rd overall pick.
Skinner could probably be traded for assets during the last year of the deal.
