Being humble is important. I think he took being in the finals for granted. It's a special thing and there's a real possibility he doesn't see it again.
You get to presented with one of the most prestigious trophies in the tournament and have your efforts acknowledged.. not a moment to blow off because you're miffed you came up short.
Hopefully Bedard serves as a better example to the kids in his career.
