And if the Flames just kept him they save one pick, nobody is arguing that. I HIGHLY doubt he signs a cheap one year deal with the Flames and lights it up enough to get another first at the 24 deadline. He has said multiple times he needed a chance of scenery. Based on history Flames UFAs want top dollar to resign.
